GBR at the 2025 Oceania Cup

The 2025 Oceania Cup International Weightlifting Tournament took place on April 12–13 at the Victorian Weightlifting Stadium in Hawthorn, Melbourne, bringing together top lifters from across the region and beyond.

Great Britain was represented by two athletes: Madison Farley and Myren Madden, both delivering strong performances on the international stage.

Among the standout performances was Madison Farley, who delivered a flawless snatch series of 87kg, 90kg, and a personal best of 92kg. In the clean & jerk, she successfully lifted 114kg and narrowly missed her attempts at 118kg.

Myren Madden also impressed, hitting 140kg and 144kg in the snatch before a narrow miss at 148kg. He secured a strong 183kg lift in the clean & jerk after an initial success at 175kg and a miss at 180kg, totalling 327kg.

The Oceania Cup continues to serve as a key platform for lifters in the region to gain international experience and showcase their progress.
