More InfoTo make an effective and positive contribution to the BWL Board. The Directors are empowered to direct the Chief Executive and Management Team, to provide independent strategic advice and to guide BWL to long-term growth and success.
The Board is seeking individuals with outstanding leadership skills and achievements, with the passion and commitment to devote to the Board and stakeholders at this exciting time for BWL.
The ideal candidates are likely to have strong experience gained in a similar role within the sport sector, not for profit or relate sectors. Experience of working in an organisation that has a membership would also be helpful.
Candidates should have a collaborative approach and desire to bring their skills and commitment to further develop BWL across the country at grassroots and performance level, ensuring our sport remains inclusive to all.
Due to the completion of terms by Non-Executive Directors on the Board, there now exists the opportunity to appoint two new independent Board members. BWL is particularly interested in candidates with experience in:
Finance (including a recognised financial qualification)
