The stage is set. On 11–12 April 2026, the BUCS Weightlifting and Para Powerlifting Championships land at the University of Lincoln, bringing the strongest student lifters in the country together for one electrifying weekend. 

Qualification:

The qualification period for the upcoming BUCS runs from 22 February 2025 to 22 February 2026. Results achieved within this period will be eligible for qualification. 

Athletes must meet or exceed the qualification totals outlined below in their respective weight class. 

Women:

Men:

• Qualification totals must be achieved at a BWL recognised and sanctioned competition. 

• All entries are subject to verification. 
• Further event-specific information will be published in advance of the competition. 

Competition entries:

Entries for the competition will open on 23 February 2026 and close on 5 March 2026. All entries must be submitted via BUCS Play.
