The future of English weightlifting takes centre stage this winter. From 20–22 February, the England Age Group Championships arrive at Oldbury Academy, Birmingham, bringing together the nation’s most talented young lifters for three days of high-energy, high-stakes competition.

Please note that British Weight Lifting has introduced a condensed weigh-in format for selected sessions at this year’s England Age Group Championships. This format was trialled at last year’s British Age Group Championships within the development age categories.

In most cases, weigh-ins will run for one and a half hours to accommodate two sessions. Priority will be given to athletes competing in the earlier session.
