Time to talk day
2 February 2023 is Time to Talk day. Time to Talk Day is the nation’s biggest mental health conversation. Happening every year, it’s a day for friends, families, communities and workplaces to come together to talk, listen and change lives.
Time to Talk Day is run by Mind and Rethink Mental Illness in England, in partnership with Co-op. The campaign runs UK wide, with Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) and See Me in Scotland, Inspire and Change Your Mind in Northern Ireland and Time to Change Wales.
Why is it important to talk
One in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem in any given year.
Being open and honest helps to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.
