In Memory of Trisha Forbes (1962 - 2024)

British Weight Lifting (BWL) is mourning the recent passing of Trisha Forbes, aged 62.

As an active and accomplished Masters competitor, Trisha competed in an impressive 28 international events from 2008 to 2023, including the European Championships, World Championships, and World Masters Games. She stood on the podium 26 times at these events, winning seven gold medals throughout her illustrious career.

Known for her infectious passion for Masters Weightlifting and her kind spirit, Trisha will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Zibi, a historian from Poland, has compiled a list of her many outstanding performances, reflecting the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
