Cyrille Tchatchet II: WADA Athlete Council Candidate

International Weightlifting Federation and British Weight Lifting are proud to share that Cyrille Tchatchet II is a candidate for the WADA Athlete Council.

Cyrille’s dedication to clean sport and athlete welfare has led him to this significant opportunity to advocate for fair play on a global scale.

Originally from Cameroon, Cyrille’s journey has taken him from competing at the Commonwealth Games to representing the Refugee Olympic Team at Tokyo 2020, and now lifting for Great Britain. Alongside his impressive career as a weightlifter, Cyrille works as a mental health nurse, bringing a unique perspective to athlete advocacy.
