Want to be a Technical Official at the 2026 European Championships?

The European Championships will be held in Batumi, Georgia from 19 – 26 April 2026.

Insofar as Technical Officials are concerned, Member Federations in good standing are eligible to nominate officials for the consideration of appointment by the European Weightlifting Federation.

In this regard, BWL seeks the expression of interest of suitably qualified and experienced technical officials who wish to be considered for nomination.

To be eligible, British Officials must have officiated at least three (3) national events during the proceeding twelve months.

The completed form must be submitted to BWL no later than 1700hrs, 22 January 2026.

Nominations will be assessed and prioritised by the BWL Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Events Operations Manager.

IMPORTANT
It must be emphasized that the appointment of technical officials is made by the EWF and not BWL. Please also note selected ITOs maybe requested to cover their participation (flight only).
