Volunteer at the England Championships 2025!

Volunteers are the heartbeat of British Weight Lifting, playing a vital role in ensuring the sport thrives at every level. From local club competitions to world-class events, their dedication and expertise provide the foundation that allows athletes to perform at their best.

As British Weight Lifting CEO has previously acknowledged, “Our events are made possible only through the shared commitment of a passionate community... from the athletes and coaches, to the officials, volunteers, and event personnel working tirelessly behind the scenes.”

With the 2025 England Championships fast approaching, British Weight Lifting is calling on volunteers to help make the event a success.

The England Championships 2025 are officially set for 6–7 December at the NEC, Birmingham.

Contributions for volunteers include:

• £30 per day* 
• £5 contribution towards lunch

Contributions for Technical Officials include:

• £30 per day* 
• £5 contribution towards lunch
• £50 contribution towards accommodation costs**

*For volunteers/TOs that can cover 3+ sessions

**For TOs that can cover 3+ sessions on both days of the competition
