The 2026 Prohibited List: What you need to know
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has published the 2026 Prohibited List, which outlines the substances and methods that are prohibited in sport, following a consultation period with stakeholders.

WADA released the 2026 List on 24 September 2025, giving athletes and their support personnel time to:
- Make themselves aware of the changes to the List
- Review any medications they use
- Apply for a Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) to the appropriate organisation, such as UKAD or International Federation, if required
