Notice of Extraordinary General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting (Meeting) of British Weight Lifters Association (BWLA) will be held at Leeds United, Elland Road, Leeds LS11 0ES on Wednesday 20 September 2023 at 1400hrs.

Members will have a choice to attend either in person at the East Stand, Leeds United, Elland Road, Leeds, LS11 0ES or attend virtually by conference facility (the login details and confirmation of the process will be distributed to those wishing to attend nearer the date), to transact the business on the agenda below.

However, please note that in line with our Articles of Association only those attending in person will be able to vote.

All details confirming the virtual joining process will be communicated to all members and posted on the BWL website and across its social medial platforms.

To facilitate checking eligibility to attend, members wishing to attend are requested to inform the Chief Executive Officer and provide their membership number by close of play 13 September 2023.
