England Championships 2025: A Weekend to Remember for Weightlifting and Para Powerlifting

Across the weekend of 6–7 December 2025, the England Championships brought together athletes from across the country for a powerful celebration of strength, passion and community at the NEC in Birmingham.

The championships brought an electric atmosphere to the platform, with lifters pushing personal and national standards. From first-time national competitors to experienced champions, the weekend celebrated not just performance, but resilience, sportsmanship and the shared passion that drives strength sport forward.

Behind the scenes, the event was powered by an exceptional team. Huge thanks go to the coaches, spectators, Technical Officials, volunteers, loaders and event staff who gave their time, energy and expertise to keep the competition running smoothly. Their professionalism and commitment created the conditions that made the weekend such a success.

The energy in the warm-up rooms, the encouragement from the crowd and the respect shown between competitors reflected the spirit that makes these events so special. The England Championships continue to be a platform not only for medals and records, but for the communities around Weightlifting and Para Powerlifting to come together.
