British Weight Lifting Launches Invitation to Tender for Commercial Partner

British Weight Lifting (BWL) has launched an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for organisations interested in supporting the organisation’s commercial activity and growth.

The ITT provides an opportunity for suitably experienced organisations to work with BWL to strengthen its commercial operations and support the continued development of weightlifting and para powerlifting across the UK.

As the recognised national governing body for weightlifting and para powerlifting, BWL works with athletes, clubs, coaches and partners nationwide to grow participation and deliver high-quality competitions, education programmes and development pathways.

Through this tender process, BWL is seeking proposals from organisations capable of delivering commercial expertise that will enhance the organisation’s partnerships, revenue generation and wider engagement with the strength sport community.

Scope of Work:

The commercial reset aims to:

• Increase commercial revenue and resilience
• Modernise sponsorship and partnership frameworks
• Enhance digital and data-driven monetisation
• Align commercial positioning with the LA 2028 cycle
• Improve internal commercial capability
