Apply to be a Technical Official at the 2026 FISU World University Championships

British Weightlifting is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified Technical Officials who wish to be considered for nomination to officiate at the 2026 FISU World University Championships, taking place in Doha, Qatar, from 8–12 September 2026.

Officials eligible to apply must be Category 1  or Category 2  International Technical Officials (ITOs) and have officiated at a minimum of three national events within the previous 12 months.

Member Federations are entitled to nominate officials for consideration, with final appointments made by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF).

Interested officials should submit their completed application form to: competitions@britishweightlifting.org by 12:00 noon on 24 June 2026.

Please note that selected ITOs will be required to cover the cost of their flights to the event.

Applications will be reviewed and prioritised by the BWL Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Events Operations Manager.
