World Junior Championship 2020 Team GB Squad

The British Weigh Lifting Performance Team are delighted to announce that a squad of two athletes and two coaches have been selected to represent Great Britain in the World Junior Championships hosted at the RIN Grand Hotel Bucharest, Romania, between 14-21 March.

The team composition for the event is as follows:

Athletes (2)

• Jacob Finnigan, Men’s 73kg
• Ellie Pryor, Women’s 55kg

Coaches (2)

• Dave Sawyer, Senior National Coach
• Christie-Marie Williams, National Coach

Finnigan previously finished 11^th in the European Youth Championships last year while Pryor took a sixth-place finish at the Youth Olympics in 2018. Both currently hold British records at U17 level.

British Weight Lifting would like to wish the team good luck ahead of the event next month.
