Weightlifting fans now have the chance to win a pair of tickets to the closing session of the weightlifting competition at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

The Commonwealth Games have a proud history of showcasing incredible weightlifting performances, with athletes delivering unforgettable moments on the platform. The closing session is set to be one of the highlights of the competition, featuring top lifters and a packed arena atmosphere.

At the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, Team England had a standout weightlifting campaign, bringing home five medals: Emily Campbell, Sarah Davies, and Chris Murray with gold, Jess Gordon-Brown with silver, and Fraer Morrow with bronze. Both Emily Campbell and Sarah Davies set triple Commonwealth Games records - Emily with a 124kg snatch, 162kg clean and jerk, and 286kg total, and Sarah with a 103kg snatch, 126kg clean and jerk, and 229kg total. Across all home nations teams, 11 British records were broken, making Birmingham 2022 a record-breaking spectacle.
