Wildboar Weightlifting Youth Academy
Today as part of the Great British Week of Sport we are focussing on getting young people involved as part of the #BeActive Campaign.
We are sharing youth coaching success stories from all-around the British weightlifting community, and next up we are showcasing Wildboar Weightlifting who are based in Lydney, Gloucestershire.
The club runs a Youth Academy where they work with a range of young people of varying ages and offer sessions to suit all abilities. Their mission is to share their passion for the sport they love and help as many people as possible enjoy and succeed within the sport of Weightlifting.
Wildboar Weightlifting offer classes, such as a Youth Academy, which is a Strength and Conditioning session for 11-16 year olds or virtual youth Zoom Classes for young people aged 7-10.
Wildboar Youth academy is set up to provide the best opportunities for kids to get into strength based training, be that to improve and compliment their chosen sport or to explore the sport of Weightlifting, and to inspire young people to develop a lifelong interest in all things health, fitness and wellbeing.
