Team England Enjoy Para Powerlifting Success!

Team England enjoyed further success in the Para Powerlifting with Louise Sugden winning Commonwealth silver in the women’s heavyweight, Zoe Newson securing Bronze in the Women’s Lightweight and Ali Jawad took bronze in the Men’s lightweight division.

Team England enjoyed further success in the Para Powerlifting with Louise Sugden winning Commonwealth silver in the women’s heavyweight, Zoe Newson securing Bronze in the Women’s Lightweight  and Ali Jawad took bronze in the Men’s lightweight division.

England’s Oliver Brown finished sixth in the men’s lightweight, with Wales’ Nathan Stephens in 10th. England’s Natalie Blake finished 6th in the Women’s Lightweight.

Nerys Pearce of Wales secured 4th place in the Women’s Heavyweight division.

In the Men’s Heavyweight category Micky Yule of Scotland finished 4th with Nathaniel Wilding of England securing 5th place.
