One Kind Word: Anti Bullying Week 2021
Anti-Bullying Week is organised in England and Wales by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. It takes place from 15-19 November 2021 and this year’s theme is ‘One Kind Word’. The week will begin with Odd Socks Day which is supported by CBBC and CBeebies star Andy Day.
Kindness is more important today than it has ever been. The isolation of the last year has underlined how little acts of consideration and charity can break down barriers and brighten the lives of the people around us.
This is one of the reasons why ‘One Kind Word’ has been chosen as the theme of Anti-Bullying Week taking place from 15 to 19 of November 2021.
One Kind Word can be a turning point. It can change someone’s perspective. It can change their day. It can change the course of a conversation and break the cycle of bullying.
Andy Day will highlight Odd Socks Day on the first day of Anti-Bullying Week showcasing that there is a serious message behind the fun of putting on odd socks to showcase individuality and how everyone is different unique.
