Olympic Games Paris 2024: BWL Technical Official Nomination Opportunity

The Weightlifting competition of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 will be held from 07 – 11 August 2024.

Insofar as Technical Officials are concerned, Member Federations in good standing are eligible to nominate a maximum of one (1) man and one (1) woman for the consideration of appointment by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) Executive Board.

In this regard, BWL seeks the expression of interest of suitably qualified and experienced technical officials who wish to be considered for nomination.

The completed form must be submitted to BWL no later than COB, 11 August 2023. Email: competitions@britishweightlifting.org

Nominations will be assessed and prioritised by the BWL Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Head of Events.

IMPORTANT

It must be emphasized that the appointment of technical officials for the Olympic Games Paris 2024 is made by the IWF and not BWL.
