Membership Fee Changes

As we continue to embrace the evolving landscape of British Weight Lifting, we want to take a moment to address a necessary transition within our community.

The decision to update our membership fees, which will take effect on 1 May 2024, has been made with the utmost consideration for the value and experience we offer to our members.

We acknowledge that price increases are never welcome, and even in these difficult times, even less so.

However, the increase across our membership categories, is the first of its kind in a generation. We approach this change with a blend of necessity and optimism, as it ensures our capacity to continue providing you with the quality of service and competition that you deserve – particularly but not limited to the to the areas of enhanced social media content, marketing, communications, and competition delivery.

The fee adjustment is a reflection of these ongoing services and the current economic climate. It will also support our continued sport development initiatives, such as enhancing programmes in schools and clubs, and seeking new partnerships that will allow us to offer more to our members.
