IWF Grand Prix II: Athlete Lineup

British Weight Lifting is excited to reveal the names of the athletes who have been selected to represent our nation at the upcoming IWF Grand Prix II in Qatar. The competition, scheduled to take place between 4-14 December, is not only a prestigious event in its own right but also serves as a critical qualification opportunity for the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Meet the Athletes:

Fraer Morrow (W49): A name synonymous with dedication and strength, Fraer Morrow, the British record holder and Commonwealth Games Medallist, is set to take the stage in the women's 49kg category.

Sarah Davies (W71): Sarah Davies, Tokyo 2020 Olympian, Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist, and World Championships Medallist will be representing Great Britain in the women's 71kg category.

The Road to Paris 2024:

The significance of the IWF Grand Prix II extends beyond the competition itself. This event serves as a pivotal stepping stone toward the ultimate goal – securing a spot at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.
