Last week saw the European Seniors take place in Bucharest, Romania, the squad enjoyed success with many lifters securing or equaling their personal bests.

Bobbie Ross secured a personal best of 86kg for her snatch and an equal PB total of 184kg, Chris Murray registered a PB 130kg snatch and an equal best 286kg total. Jason Epton who was competing in the 77kg category secured a PB clean & jerk of 157kg and an overall PB of 277kg.

The young team who were all making their International Senior debuts were led by British Weight Lifting Head of Coaching Giles Greenwood and Oxford Powersport’s Julie Morrish.
