Equality Standard for Sport

BWL is delighted to announce that it has achieved the Equality Standard for Sport at Intermediate Level.

The Equality in Sport Standard: A Framework for Sport was launched by the UK Sports Councils to help address the inequalities that exist in the sports sector.  

Equality, diversity and inclusivity have always been and continue to be an important part of our culture.   

As an organisation it is our mission to continue to strive for equality - we are proud of the diversity of our community and we will continue to endeavour for better representation for all. This includes making sure that we continue to listen and learn and take the appropriate steps to ensure we come together as one team to ensure everyone’s voice is heard.
