England Age Group Entry Deadline

The deadline to enter the England Age Group Weightlifting Championships is Monday 4 February at 23:55 and we can officially confirm that the competition will be a one-day event taking place on Saturday 23 February.

This is a brand new tier 2 competition which will be hosted at Venue 360 in Luton, the event has been specifically created to help young lifters under the age of 23 gain valuable competitive experience on the platform.

Lifters will be able to set national records and use the event to qualify for Tier 1 and Tier 2 events. The competition will feature 6 national championships in the following age group categories: U10, U12, U15, U17, U20, and U23.

All of the results from the Under 15 category and above will feature on the official British Weight Lifting ranking lists. To be eligible to compete at this competition a lifter must be aged under 23 on the 31^st of December 2019.

All lifters must hold a valid BWL membership and adhere to the BWL Technical & Competition Rules and Regulations which can be found here.
