Call for Technical Officials, Loaders and Volunteers: British Age Group Championships 2026

British Weight Lifting is looking for Technical Officials, loaders and volunteers to support the 2026 British Age Group Championships.

Taking place on 3-4 October 2026 at Royds Hall Sports Centre, Huddersfield, the competition will bring together the UK's top young weightlifters as they battle for national titles and showcase the future of our sport.

Whether you're an experienced Technical Official, a club volunteer looking to gain event experience, or keen to support the next generation of athletes, we'd love to hear from you.

Technical Officials
Loaders
General Volunteers

All roles play an important part in creating a safe, professional and enjoyable competition environment for athletes, coaches and spectators.

Expenses

All Technical Officials and volunteers who support three or more sessions per day will receive £35 per day towards expenses.
