Philip Edmondson, new Non-Executive Director commented:

“I am excited and honoured to join the team at BWL. Having met the Board I can see we have a great mix of personalities and expertise to help continue to grow and improve the sport and bring it to new audiences”.

Philip has been appointed in line with our Articles for an initial term of four years and replaces David Knaggs, who has retired after five years of service to take up a new role as a magistrate in his hometown. Our Board is now back to its agreed optimal number of 10 and remains compliant in respect of the Code for Sports Governance with appropriate numbers of both the number of independent directors and gender split.
