Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games daily sports schedule unveiled

The daily schedule for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games has been released today with the organisers confirming which sports will be held on each of the 11 days of competition.

The Games Opening Ceremony will be on 28 July at the Alexander Stadium and the event will close on 8 August.

The Weightlifting competition will be held at the NEC and will run from 30 July to 3 August and the Para-Powerlifting competition will be held on 4 August also at the NEC.
