2025 Commonwealth Championships - ITO Expression of Interest

The Commonwealth Championships will be held in Ahmedabad, India from 24 – 30 August 2025.

Insofar as Technical Officials are concerned, Member Federations in good standing are eligible to nominate officials for the consideration of appointment by the Commonwealth Weightlifting Federation.  

In this regard, BWL seeks the expression of interest of suitably qualified and experienced technical officials who wish to be considered for nomination. To be eligible, British Officials must have officiated at least three (3) national events during the proceeding twelve months. 

The completed form must be submitted to BWL no later than 1700hrs, 12 June 2025.

Nominations will be assessed and prioritised by the BWL Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Head of Events.  

IMPORTANT 

It must be emphasised that the appointment of technical officials is made by the CWF and not BWL.  

Please also note selected ITOs maybe requested to cover their participation (flight only). Accommodation will be provided by the Local Organising Committee.
