There was personal bests aplenty at the BWL Spring Open as Para Powerlifting returned to St Mary’s University in Twickenham last weekend.

Last weekend Loughborough University won the British Universities & Colleges Championship with 83 points at St Mary’s University in Twickenham.

Emily Campbell has added to Britain’s overall medals in the final day of lifting at the European Weightlifting Senior Championships.  With three overall medals secured this has been the best performance by a British team to date at the European Seniors.

The British international Open will take place at The Ricoh Arena, Coventry between 7-9 June 2019 and we are delighted to announce the first five countries and athletes who have confirmed their place at the competition.

The European Senior Weightlifting Championships are currently taking place in Batumi, Georgia. It has been a fantastic start for the Great Britain team so far with strong performances from all athletes.

Zoe Smith is currently on course for Tokyo 2020 after securing Great Britain’s first pieces of silverware at the European Weightlifting Championships in Batumi, Georgia.

Next week will see the European Senior Weightlifting Championships take place in Batumi, Georgia. The Great Britain squad features a mixture of youth and experience with many established names competing alongside rising stars of the sport.

British Weight Lifting are pleased to announce the team selected to compete at the 2019 Eger World Para Powerlifting World Cup.

This year’s British Weight Lifting Championships has been officially confirmed as an IWF Bronze Status event. In light of this development the competition will now be referred to as the British International Open 2019.
