Upcoming Tier 3 Competitions

British Weight Lifting is pleased to provide an update on the Tier 3 competitions that are taking place in the coming months.

Tier 3 competitions provide an opportunity for lifters to achieve classified results and feature on our official online rankings list.

These events are well suited for both novice and experienced lifters and also offer a route to qualify for Tier 1 and 2 competitions such as the England and British Championships.

The next Tier 3 competition run by BWL is the North Junior & Youth which is scheduled to take place on the 17^th of November at Barton Athletic Club in Manchester.

Taking place December 1-2 is the BWL North Open and Masters which will take place at Life Leisure Houldsworth Village in Manchester.  Anyone over 15 is eligible to enter the North Open division while the Masters title is for those 35 and above.

The deadline to register for the BWL North Open and Masters is the 19^th of November and it will be an opportunity for lifters looking to qualify for the 2019 England Championship event.

In the New Year we will be hosting the Midlands Age Group Winter Open on the 13^th of January 2019 at Fortitude Gym Lydney, Gloucestershire. Entries close on the 16^th of December.
