England Age Groups Schedule Announced

The England Age Group Championships will take place on 23 February with the competition been streamlined into a one-day event at Venue 360, Luton.

There will be two platforms running simultaneously throughout the day. This will be the first edition of the event that has been specifically created to aid the development of young talent across the country.

English silver medallist Jenny Tong is back in action following her strong performance at the national championships in Milton Keynes last month. The Hallam Barbell lifter a total of 163kg and was only 5kg away from winning the 55kg title.

She will be joined by Mia Keegan who represented Team GB at the European Youth Championships in Milan last year and finished 8^th in the Under 15’s W48 class.

Europa’s Skip Callard is one of the ones to watch in the male categories.  He took a podium finish at the England event and also has international experience having competed at the World Youths in 2017.

We advise spectators to purchase their tickets in advance of the competition, as the ticket price will increase on the day due to limited availability.
